Key Responsibilities

• Execute timely preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment as outlined by our Total Preventive Maintenance program, accurately documenting tasks and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot and assist with repairs on a variety of mechanical and electrical systems, including support for automation components such as sensors, drives, and control devices.
• Drive improvements in maintenance tracking and documentation practices to enhance accuracy, visibility, and readiness for future system enhancements.
• Proactively engage in cross-functional initiatives to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate across departments and with maintenance team members to identify and implement proactive maintenance opportunities, ensuring a flexible, scalable, and efficient maintenance operation.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with a strong focus on preventive maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly in mechanical systems and basic automation technologies.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, and industrial controls.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and system diagrams.
• Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, lighting, and plumbing.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with others in a team setting.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Comfortable using computers and digital tools for basic documentation and reporting.
• Active role in improving the organization and effectiveness of maintenance systems.
• Demonstrates curiosity and a mindset for continuous improvement and innovation.
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Mathematical skills to perform shop math and use measurement tools accurately.
• Physically able to lift 20 lbs repetitively, and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand for long periods, bend, climb, and work at heights or in tight spaces.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
• Experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, or automation support in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems or CMMS tools is a plus.
