What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Few Automotive Glass Applications?
Maintenance Technicians fully support production and ensure smooth running of machines in order to promote efficient operations. They are responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and calibrating proprietary machinery, general maintenance of the building, as well as safety standards across all shifts.
Candidates must:
- Have a good mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
- Be able to troubleshoot, repair, and clean machinery, as well as make adjustments to programmable machinery.
- Display excellent problem solving skills.
- Have an interest in fabrication.
- Have excellent attendance.
- A willingness to learn
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand, squat, and walk.
- Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
This position will train on first shift from four to six weeks until candidate has a solid grasp on machinery. Once training is sufficient, the candidate will move to third shift which runs Sunday through Thursday 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Some Saturdays (Friday night for third shift) may be mandated.
