Industrial Millwright

The Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing conveyor systems and mechanical equipment to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime. This field-based role requires 75% travel, strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and adherence to safety protocols. Work involves troubleshooting, fabrication, blueprint reading, rigging, and material handling in industrial environments, heights, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on conveyor systems.
• Install, assemble, and test equipment per blueprints and technical drawings.
• Apply advanced rigging techniques and material handling knowledge.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
• Communicate effectively with teams and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Document work and train apprentices as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of millwright experience (preferably in conveyor systems or 24/7 service industries).
• Valid Driver’s License (required).
• Strong mechanical, rigging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, travel extensively, and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable working overtime, irregular hours, and remote locations.
