Duties
- Greet guests warmly and with enthusiasm as they arrive, making them feel immediately welcomed and appreciated
- Manage to go orders and seating arrangements efficiently, utilizing POS systems
- Answer phone inquiries with professionalism, providing accurate information and assisting with reservations or questions about the menu
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth seating transitions and timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station, ensuring a tidy appearance at all times
- Assist in managing waitlists during busy periods, communicating wait times clearly to guests
- Uphold food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest satisfaction and safety at all times
Skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest relations expertise
- Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow efficiently
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude
- Previous experience in guest services, serving, or hotel operations is highly desirable
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
