Construction EXPERIENCED CREW LEADER

We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Crew Lead who has a proven track record of leading and developing small construction teams. This role is ideal for someone who has previously served as a lead, foreman, or crew supervisor and is comfortable directing the daily work of a 2–3 person crew while working alongside team members in the field. The Crew Lead is responsible for keeping projects on track, maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety compliance, and providing guidance and support to crew members throughout each project.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a 2–3 person construction crew, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
• Assign daily tasks, coordinate workflow, and provide direction and hands-on training to crew members
• Monitor crew performance, maintain productivity, and address job-site challenges as they arise
• Work alongside the crew performing roofing, siding, gutters, trim work, metal work, decks, fences, and porches
• Read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and project plans
• Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications
• Load, unload, and maintain tools, equipment, and materials
• Keep job sites clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience leading, supervising, or managing a construction crew of 2–3 employees
• Strong ability to guide, motivate, and mentor crew members while maintaining accountability
• Experience in construction with knowledge of roofing, siding, gutters, trim work, metal work, decks, fences, and porches
• Ability to read blueprints and measurements accurately
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Preferred opening sentence:

We are seeking an experienced Crew Lead with a proven history of successfully leading and mentoring 2–3 person construction crews. The ideal candidate has prior leadership experience, can confidently direct daily job-site operations, and leads by example while working alongside their team.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
