Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dog Bather to join our animal care team. This role involves providing professional bathing services to dogs, ensuring they are clean, comfortable, and well-cared-for. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent handling skills, and experience in bathing or animal care. Duties
- Bathing, drying, according to breed standards and client preferences
- Handling dogs safely and humanely during bathing procedures
- Restraining animals gently to ensure safety for both pet and groomer
- Maintaining cleanliness of grooming tools and work area
Requirements
- Experience with pet grooming techniques and equipment
- Ability to lift heavy loads (heavy lifting) when necessary for equipment or animal handling
- Excellent customer service skills with a caring attitude towards animals and their owners
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical stamina for standing long periods and performing repetitive tasks throughout the day
