The Sortation Associate is responsible for the efficient and accurate sorting and staging of packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role involves unloading trailers, scanning packages with a handheld device, and placing them in designated locations for driver pickup.
What you'll do:
- Unload incoming trailers, handling packages of various sizes and weights.
- Utilize a handheld scanner to accurately sort and track packages.
- Stage sorted packages in correct bays or locations for pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack for moving and staging pallets
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
What You'll Need:
- Six months warehouse experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer or scanner literacy is a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
