Overview
Festiva Laundry is seeking a reliable, hands-on Assistant Manager to support daily operations in our fast-paced laundry facility. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable leading a team while assisting with both operational and administrative tasks. The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, excellent customer service, and staff accountability.
Duties
- Assist with daily operations of the laundry facility
- Supervise and support staff during shifts
- Help with scheduling, coverage, and shift adjustments
- Ensure productivity, quality control, and workflow efficiency
- Handle customer questions or concerns professionally
- Assist with training new employees
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Monitor cleanliness, safety, and organization of the facility
- Support payroll preparation and attendance tracking as needed
- Step in to assist with production when necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
- Experience in laundry, retail, hospitality, or service industry is a plus
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable addressing staff performance and accountability
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- Must be flexible with scheduling, including some weekends
