What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Biller- Coder/ Accounts Receivable position at Fertility Institute of North Alabama?
We are looking for a compassionate, gentle personality who is highly profient and experienced in billing, coding, and accounts receivables, very detail-orientated, self-driven, and certified. The primary duties of this candidate will be managing our accounts receivables, including verifying insurance for patients, ensure proper coding for all clinical and surgical charges, submit all charges for the practice, review/resubmit rejected claims, and entering EOB's into our EMR. Secondarily this candidate will be a backup to helping answering phone calls, accepting referrals, scheduling clinic patients, processing copays, and preparing the EMR for upcoming clinic days. The optimal candidate must have coding/ billing experience, enjoy collaborating with others, and be meticulously organized and goal oriented. The candidate must have skills in typing, word processing, excel spreadsheets, and document/file management.
