Fertig Fertilizing is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Office Manager to support our daily operations. This role is essential for keeping our business running smoothly by managing customer communication, scheduling, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working independently and has exceptional customer service skills. Customer interaction will be primarily via email and over the phone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and communicate professionally with customers
- Schedule appointments, organize service routes, and coordinate with lawn technicians
- Create customer accounts and log customer details
- Maintain spreadsheets, and other documents using Excel and various computer programs
- Handle invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping responsibilities
- Assist customers with questions, concerns, and service updates via phone and email
- Support company leadership with ongoing business needs
- Continuously improve office processes to increase efficiency
- Learn Fertig Fertilizing’s systems, procedures, and lawn service terminology
Qualifications:
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Proficient in Excel and general computer programs
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Experience in a service-based industry is a plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 per year
