What You'll Do
As a CPA/Tax Accountant, you will:
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns.
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients.
- Prepare financial statements and assist with accounting engagements.
- Perform financial analysis and identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Assist with payroll tax compliance and related reporting.
- Build strong client relationships through responsive, professional service.
- Collaborate with partners and staff to support client growth and firm success.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- Active CPA license.
- Five or more years of recent public accounting experience with an emphasis in tax.
- Strong background in tax preparation and planning.
- Experience with QuickBooks and Lacerte tax software is preferred.
- Knowledge of payroll and payroll tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High ethical standards and strong attention to detail.
- A collaborative attitude and commitment to outstanding client service.
