Conflict resolution awareness
Ability to work evenings and weekends
Experience planning and organizing programs, tournaments, or campus events preferred
Experience working in a college/university, community recreation, athletic, or youth programming environment preferred

Knowledge of recreational programming and competitive sports operations preferred Essential Duties/Responsibilities: The following job duties will be completed under the supervision of a University Recreation professional staff member:
- Assist with the planning and coordinating of campus recreation events, including intramural tournaments
- Help develop event timelines, risk management plans, and operational checklists
- Assist with recruitment and training of student staff and volunteers
- Assist with facility reservation and equipment setup/teardown
- Help professional staff with event registration processes and participant communication
- Collaborate with student organizations, Athletics, Student Affairs, and campus partners
- Assist with monitoring event budgets and tracking expenses
- Provide on-site event support and resolve issues as they arise
