About the Role:
The Quality Control Intern will monitor production and packing lines on a daily basis to ensure compliance with FDA requirements, good manufacturing practices (GMP's) and internal specifications. This position is approximately 20 hours per week with flexible hours.

About the Role:
The Quality Control Intern will monitor production and packing lines on a daily basis to ensure compliance with FDA requirements, good manufacturing practices (GMP's) and internal specifications. This position is approximately 20 hours per week with flexible hours.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contact and communicate with vendors. Maintain vendor documentation for raw materials, packaging, bought-out, and tools/utensils.
- Assist with updating and maintaining training materials
- Conduct data entry or any other requested tasks by Quality or Operations Management
- Assist with consumer contact investigations
- Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems.
- Assist with facility inspections and documentation
Education or Experience:
- High School Graduate or G.E.D. and working towards a degree in a science field.
- Dependability, a solid work history and a proven track record of safe work habits.
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and writing).
- Communicates effectively with employees of all levels, as well as outside agencies.
- Analytical Skills - Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
- Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
- Ability to walk and move freely and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds (Bulk items may be heavy)
