We have a current opening for a Food Safety & Quality Manager and are actively reviewing applications.
Supporting Food Safety & Quality Production Manager, and the Head of Quality for the Plant in the development and implementation of new standards within the Franklin Park facility.
Main Responsibilities:

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
In addition to base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to product and process quality standards using SAP and corporate systems
- Oversee production line quality activities and guide operator execution
- Manage quality documentation, procedures, and records
- Monitor performance trends and communicate KPIs across levels
- Support production on all quality-related matters
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, GFSI/FSSC22000, and internal quality systems
- Verify effectiveness of food safety plans and GMP adherence
- Manage non-conformances, including product holds, RCA, and consumer complaints
- Oversee final product release with team accountability
- Ensure accurate reporting and documentation of quality results
- Train employees on GMP, procedures, and quality requirements
- Support operators in executing auto-control activities correctly
- Lead team performance: scheduling, prioritization, and annual evaluations
- Ensure team compliance with procedures and continuous capability development
- B.Sc Degree in Food Science, Food technology preferred, or other related field
- Minimum 2 years in a Quality Supervisor role within a food manufacturing environment
- 4 years of Food Quality and Safety Systems
- Knowledge and experience in Root Cause Analysis and Problem-Solving Techniques
- Knowledge of raw materials, quality assurance and quality control.
- Experience of GFSI standards (FSSC 22000, SQF, BRC) required, Quality Standard ISO9001 is a plus.
- Internal auditing experience is an asset
- Ability to conduct presentations and training sessions
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
- Strong communication skills in a multi-cultural environment
