Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Ferreri Search is partnering with a rapidly growing and privately held, organization to identify a Director of FP&A for a highly visible role within its expanding finance team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced FP&A leader who wants more than maintaining an established planning process. You'll have the opportunity to help build and shape the FP&A function, partner directly with senior leadership, and influence financial decision-making as the business continues to scale.

What You'll Do

• Own and drive key components of the forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes
• Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Partner with business leaders to understand performance, identify trends, and translate results into actionable insights
• Provide meaningful P&L, revenue, margin, and operating expense analysis
• Develop and enhance management reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and financial visibility
• Support scenario planning and evaluate business opportunities and investments
• Partner across the organization to improve forecasting accuracy and financial accountability
• Support financial analysis related to growth initiatives and M&A
• Help develop scalable FP&A processes, tools, and reporting as the organization grows
• Provide leadership and mentorship within the FP&A team

What We're Looking For

• Progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or corporate finance
• Strong experience owning forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning
• Demonstrated ability to analyze the full P&L, including revenue, gross margin/cost of revenue, and operating expenses
• Strong financial modeling, scenario analysis, and business-partnering capabilities
• Experience supporting senior executives and communicating financial insights to non-finance leaders
• Ability to move comfortably between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
• Experience in a growing, changing, or acquisition-oriented organization is highly valued
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
