What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Accountant (Cost) position at Ferreira Construction Co., Inc.?
We are currently looking for a Junior Accountant to work in our Job Cost Department. This role will be based out of our Headquarters in Branchburg NJ.
Responsibilities
- Entering budgets and job setup information.
- Help review the status of ongoing projects.
- Prepare reports and present data to management.
- Work with project managers to complete job cost reports.
- Assist in audits and general ledger preparation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail; process oriented, with excellent judgement skills are essential.
- Must be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Strong Excel (Pivot tables, Lookups & Macros).
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
