Settlement Attorney – Plaintiff Wage & Hour Class Action
Pay: $125,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
The Opportunity
We are a plaintiff-side wage and hour class action law firm based in San Diego (with offices in San Diego and Seattle) looking for a highly skilled Settlement Attorney.
Whether you prefer to work 100% remotely or in a hybrid capacity, this is a rare opportunity to step away from the grueling litigation grind. We offer no billable hour requirements, strictly business hours (8:30 AM to 5:00 PM), and no nights or weekends. Just highly focused, impactful work driving our class action and PAGA settlements across the finish line.
The Position & Responsibilities
You will take ownership of the settlement phase of our cases, working independently with direct support from a dedicated paralegal who also works exclusively on cases in the settlement stage.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Drafting comprehensive class action and PAGA settlement agreements based on templates, shells, and first drafts prepared by settlement paralegal.
- Drafting and filing motions for preliminary and final approval.
- Managing the settlement lifecycle, including coordinating with opposing counsel and claims administrators and keeping clients updated.
- Assisting with virtual court appearances for approval hearings.
Qualifications
- 1 years of relevant experience, including handling class action and/or PAGA settlements.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
