What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Warehouse Loader position at Ferraro Foods?
Job Summary: The Night Warehouse Loader is responsible for accurately building outgoing loads of company products and place on route delivery trucks. This position may be required to work second and/or third shift. This position is very physical and may require the selected candidate to lift, push and pull in excess of 80 lbs pounds or more repeatedly during the workday.
Essential Job Function:
- Safely operates electric and manual pallet jacks to move products and pallets throughout the warehouse.
- Assists associates in staging, loading, unloading, rotation, and storage of products.
- Restocks and repacks damaged or miss-loaded products.
- Utilizes load sheets to accurately build outgoing product orders for delivery.
- Work with load sheets to accurately load pallets of dry, refrigerated, and frozen food products for delivery.
- Unloading of the returned products, pallets/plastic flats from the incoming trucks.
- Maintains the integrity of the load by ensuring that the pallets are properly stacked and shrink-wrapped.
- Work closely with other employees to continually operate a safe, efficient warehouse operation.
- Maintains a clean and neat warehouse and surrounding area.
- Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions given in English
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Must be able to lift and/or move 75 pounds or more.
- Must possess the ability to maneuver a pallet jack.
- Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
- Experience operating a forklift and an electric pallet jack.
