About the Role
Ferraro Foods is seeking an experienced Master Data Management (MDM) Specialist to support and govern enterprise master data across our ERP systems. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of product, customer, vendor, and pricing data that supports key business functions across the organization.
The MDM Specialist partners cross-functionally, exercises independent judgment, and contributes to system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced foodservice distribution environment.
What You’ll Do
- Own and maintain accurate master data within ERP and related systems
- Manage product, customer, vendor, pricing, and attribute data to support operational needs
- Support new item setup and product launches, ensuring data completeness and accuracy
- Enforce data standards, naming conventions, and governance practices
- Identify and resolve data discrepancies, duplicates, and missing information
- Conduct recurring audits to ensure data integrity
- Partner with Sales, Purchasing, Finance, Marketing, and IT to translate business needs into standardized data solutions
- Serve as a subject matter expert for ERP master data enhancements and integrations
- Maintain documentation, standards, and procedures; provide guidance to internal stakeholders
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing master data within an ERP environment
- Experience maintaining data accuracy and resolving data issues across systems
- Experience with ERP platforms such as NCR Retalix / Power Enterprise, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Infor, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to review, analyze, and manipulate large datasets
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SQL or other database/query tools is a plus
- Experience working with IBM AS400–based systems is a plus
- Foodservice, distribution, or manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
