Warehouse Lumper Associate

Job Summary:  

You are responsible for accurately unloading and breaking down inbound loads. This position may be required to work first or second. This position is very physical and may require the selected candidate to lift, push and pull in excess of 80 lbs. pounds or more repeatedly during the workday.
 

Essential Job Functions:    

• Operates electric and manual pallet jack to move product and pallets throughout the warehouse.
• Assists associates in staging, loading, unloading, rotation, and storage of products. 
• Restocks and repacks damaged or miss-loaded products.
• Unloading returned products, pallets/plastic flats from the incoming trucks. 
• May use a forklift and/or pallet jack to move product in and out of the warehouse as required.
• Maintain the stability of the pallets by properly stacking and shrink wrapping the built pallet.
• Maintains the integrity of the load by ensuring that the pallets are properly stacked and shrink wrapped.
• Work closely with other employees to continually operate a safe, efficient warehouse operation.
• Safely operates assigned equipment within the warehouse area.
• Maintains clean and neat warehouse and surrounding area.
• Perform other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
 • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions given in English
 • Ability to work effectively with others.
 • Must be able to lift and/or move 80 pounds or more.
 • Must possess the ability to maneuver a pallet jack.
 • Experience operating a forklift and an electric pallet jack.
