We’re looking for a District Sales Manager to lead and grow our New Jersey market, driving sales performance across a fast-paced foodservice distribution environment. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be in the field with your team, building relationships, driving results, and setting the tone for performance.
What you bring to the table
• 5 years of experience in foodservice distribution sales, including leadership or mentorship responsibility
• Proven ability to grow territory revenue and develop customer relationships within the foodservice distribution space
• Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and product mix in a distribution environment
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing sales representatives in the field
• Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution alongside your team
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to travel regularly within the region
What you’ll be serving
• Lead and execute district sales strategy aligned with company revenue goals
• Drive growth across independent restaurants, pizzerias, and key accounts
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team
• Partner with leadership on pricing strategy and sales initiatives
• Support key customer relationships and assist in closing strategic opportunities
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity, and overall district results
