We are looking for a Vault Clerk to support our mission and uphold the integrity, accuracy, and security of our vault operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, verify, and log high-value inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring strict compliance with handling procedures.
Maintain accurate inventory records within the internal system; report discrepancies promptly to management.
Package, seal, and prepare items for secure shipment or delivery, including labeling and documentation.
Follow established chain-of-custody protocols and security procedures throughout daily operations.
Support physical inventory counts and internal audits; assist with reconciliation of variances.
Maintain vault cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with regulatory and company policies.
Collaborate with multiple departments including dispatch, customer service, and fleet operations to ensure timely and accurate item processing.
Assist with vault security and report any suspicious activity or procedural breaches.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the operations and security teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control, logistics, warehouse, or secure transport environments preferred.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime, as required by operational needs.
Must be punctual, organized, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work across multiple departments.
Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as standing or walking for extended periods.
Firearm permit or New York State armed guard/security license is a plus, but not required.
Additional Requirements:
The Vault Clerk must uphold strict confidentiality standards, maintain professionalism under pressure, and be able to operate in a fast-paced, high-security environment. This is a shift-based position, and availability for 5 to 6 days per week including weekends, based on operational needs
Compensation:
Hourly wage commensurate with experience. Full-time employees are eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits as outlined in the employee handbook.
Salary : $18 - $20
