Job Summary:

Ferrari Express Inc. is seeking an armed guard to provide security and logistical support at our Lawrence, NY, location. This is a full-time position assisting the logistics department with a range of duties, including managing deliveries, handling packages and parcels, monitoring security, and providing general administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and document all visitors, logging their information and providing visitor IDs as needed
• Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or contact
• Assist with the receipt and handling of incoming packages and parcels
• Monitor and ensure the secure delivery of all goods and materials
• Maintain a well-organized and clutter-free work area
• Perform heavy lifting and scanning of items as required
• Demonstrate attention to detail and the ability to remain organized
• Work weekends and overtime as needed on an as-required basis
• Carry and operate a firearm to ensure the safety and security of the premises and personnel

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as an armed guard or in a similar security role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to lift and move heavy packages and parcels
• Proficient in the use of firearms and other security equipment
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime

Requirements:

• Valid Armed Guard 
• Valid Firearm/Pistol Carry Permit/License
