Laboratory Technician
Ferny, a boutique-style fertility center with four clinics across Manhattan, is looking for a laboratory technician to join our growing team. This is an on-site position that will require the candidate to come to the office from Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate would be an enthusiastic medical professional who excels in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and run blood test as requested (endocrinology)
- Perform semen analysis
- Make sure all lab results are properly logged and reported
- Maintain all daily logs, QC testing, and validating equipment as needed
- Offer call coverage on Holidays/weekends
- Assisting with Troubleshooting/ independently troubleshoot
- Maintaining a clean work area
- Helping with inventory, data entry and lab organization
- Adhering to methodologies set forth by senior scientists
Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology or related STEM field
- COVID 19 vaccination
- At least 2 years of work experience
- Ability to commute to NYC
Salary and benefits are based on experience and open to negotiation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
