One of the many things that makes FernLeaf unique is that we operate two food trucks as a part of our food program but also use them for community engagement through numerous special events. FernLeaf Community Charter School is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Part-Time Special Events Prep/Line Cook to join our food truck team. This role supports FernLeaf’s mission by bringing fresh, delicious food to a variety of special events including weddings, community festivals, and school-sponsored activities.
The number of events will vary from week to week and month to month, but 2-4 events per month on average, primarily during evenings and weekends. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys flexible scheduling, fast-paced environments, and being part of a community-centered organization.
