Club House Cleaner

Ferncroft Country Club in Middleton, MA is seeking a motivated housekeeper to join their team. The housekeeper position is a crucial support staff member responsible for maintaining cleanliness, stocking and upkeep of public areas, performing on spot general cleaning during events, general maintenance, and assisting with guest requests. Their duties include cleaning public areas, restocking supplies, responding to maintenance needs, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of the club's public spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Maintenance:

This includes cleaning and restocking public areas like lobbies and restrooms, and ensuring all areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained.

Guest Services:

Housemen often interact with members, answering questions, fulfilling requests (like extra towels or amenities), and providing general assistance.

Inventory Management:

They may be involved in tracking and replenishing cleaning supplies, linens, and other essential items.

Maintenance Assistance:

Housemen may assist with minor repairs, furniture setup and breakdown for events, and reporting larger maintenance issues to the appropriate staff.

Security and Safety:

They play a role in maintaining a safe and secure environment by reporting any potential hazards or security concerns.

Support event setup and turnover: clean and reset banquet rooms, remove trash, sweep and mop floors, assist with linen changes and rapid turnovers as scheduled

Essential Skills:

Physical Stamina:

Housemen need to be physically fit to handle the demands of cleaning, lifting, and moving items.

Attention to Detail:

Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness requires a keen eye for detail.

Teamwork:

Housemen often work as part of a larger team, so the ability to collaborate effectively is important.

They should be able to identify and address maintenance issues or our member’s needs efficiently.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
