Position Type & Expected Hours
Flexible scheduling between 7:00am–7:00pm
- Travel to various service locations required
- Remote work may include telehealth sessions (if available), documentation, and staff meetings
- Salaried staff: typically 40–43 hours/week
- Hourly staff: up to 40 hours/week (overtime requires approval)
- Provide psychotherapy and/or skills services to children, adults, and families
- Conduct diagnostic assessments
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with external providers and community partners
- Seek supervisory support and consultation as needed
- Attend trainings to enhance clinical skills
- Participate in staff meetings and clinical supervision
- Complete continuing education requirements
- Uphold Fernbrook mission, values, and policies
- Meet productivity standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong ethical decision-making and sound professional judgment
- Ability to maintain healthy professional boundaries
- Independent task management and follow-through
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Adaptability, teamwork, and a growth mindset
- Willingness to seek feedback and continue learning
- Comfort with basic computer systems and documentation platforms
- Commitment to Fernbrook’s values and client-centered care
- Extended periods of sitting and computer work
- Stamina to engage actively in clinical sessions
- Occasional lifting up to 15 pounds
- Master’s Degree or currently enrolled in a relevant program qualifying toward one of the following: LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (and insurance for community-based roles)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with agency and DHS requirements
- Experience serving diverse client populations
- Bilingual proficiency
