About the role:
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional retailer and customer experiences and want to be part of a mission-driven company transforming the future of food? At Fermented Food Holdings, we’re looking for a Customer Operations Coordinator to be a vital link between our retail partners, sales team, and operations. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring seamless order processing, clear communication, and top-tier execution that reflects our commitment to quality and care. This role offers comprehensive visibility of Supply Chain and Operations, giving you a clear understanding of the organization’s internal systems and workflows.
You’ll get to:
- Accurately enter retailer orders into the company’s order management system
- Verify order details for accuracy, including product codes, quantities, pricing, and partner information
- Monitor receiving status of orders via EDI/SPS into company’s ERP system, NetSuite
- Respond promptly to retailer inquiries regarding order status, product information, and delivery schedules
- Provide retail buyers with product and service information, including order updates and follow-up communication as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date retail partner records in the CRM system
- Collaborate with warehouses, production, and logistics to plan product availability timelines
- Change orders by customer request and effectively communicate changes with internal teams to ensure proper fulfillment
- Handle customer and consumer communication/incoming inquiries/issues with orders
- Work closely with the sales team to clarify order details and manage special requests
- Coordinate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Run reports with the goal of increasing understanding of order patterns and retail partner profiles
- Ensure all order documentation is correctly filed and easily accessible for future reference

Must-haves:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain & Operations, Logistics, or Communications
- 1-2 years’ experience in order management and fulfillment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Self-driven, exhibiting ownership and accountability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact
- High level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry tasks
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Reliability/Punctuality

- Food or CPG industry experience
- Experience with Netsuite and EDI/SPS
