Ferman Chevrolet of Tarpon Springs is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented GM Warranty Administrator to join our growing service team. The Warranty Administrator is responsible for processing manufacturer warranty claims accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with General Motors policies and dealership procedures. This position works closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts, and Accounting to maximize warranty reimbursement and maintain excellent manufacturer relations.
The ideal candidate has previous General Motors dealership experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong understanding of automotive warranty administration.

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for processing manufacturer warranty claims accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with General Motors policies and dealership procedures. This position works closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts, and Accounting to maximize warranty reimbursement and maintain excellent manufacturer relations.

Responsibilities
- Process and submit all GM warranty claims accurately and within manufacturer deadlines.
- Review repair orders for completeness, accuracy, and warranty eligibility.
- Verify technician documentation, labor operations, causal parts, and repair coding.
- Monitor claim status and promptly resolve rejected, pending, or debited claims.
- Maintain warranty schedules and reconcile receivables.
- Ensure compliance with GM warranty policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation required for manufacturer warranty audits.
- Process warranty cancellations, adjustments, and refunds as needed.
- Work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts Department, and Accounting to resolve claim discrepancies.
- Monitor warranty aging reports and maintain timely claim submission.
- Research manufacturer warranty bulletins, policy updates, and procedural changes.
- Assist with manufacturer chargeback prevention and recovery efforts.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper warranty files.
- Support dealership management with warranty reporting and performance metrics.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
- Previous experience as a Warranty Administrator in an automotive dealership required.
- General Motors (GM) dealership warranty experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of GM Global Warranty Management system preferred.
- Understanding of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with dealership management systems.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
