Job Summary
Ferman Chevrolet Brandon is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service team. The ideal candidate has solid diagnostic abilities, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and engine performance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Complete work accurately and efficiently according to manufacturer and company standards
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations to service advisors
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Keep up to date with automotive technology and repair techniques
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with general automotive systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electrical)
- ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Own basic hand tools
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background screening and drug test.
