We are seeking a full-time, in-house Architectural Designer / Draftsperson.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare design drawings and comprehensive construction documents
- Contribute solutions to design development and technical problem-solving
- Collaborate closely with contractors, consultants, and clients throughout all project phases
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining organized documentation
- Research local building codes and submittal requirements
- Provide regular updates to the Principal Architect regarding design progress and project status
Qualifications
- Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 3–5 years of professional experience in an architectural office
- Strong drafting and detailing skills, including experience producing construction documents. Proficiency in Vectorworks preferred
- Strong graphic sensibility, including digital modeling and rendering skills. Proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- A keen interest and understanding in the art of building
- Self-motivated with excellent communication and organizational skills
Salary range: $67,200 – $76,800 annually
