We are looking for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Act in an integral role of the Ferguson Associates business by interacting with all team members appropriately in the best interest of Ferguson Associates.
- Safe unload of incoming shipments.
- Efficient checking of receipts and reporting of discrepancies or damage.
- Efficient check-in of PO’s using WMS tablet.
- Consolidate outgoing shipments effectively by a carrier.
- Verify the identification of all drivers before handing out freight for pickups.
- Ensure accurate application of shipping labels and documentation on the correct cartons for each shipment.
- Return all picking documents back to the administrative office neatly, completely, and in a timely fashion.
- Correct placement of UCC128 EDI labels for all EDI shipments.
- Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including general warehouse maintenance such as cutting boxes, sweeping floors, clearing trash and debris, etc.
- Efficiently checking of receipts and reporting of discrepancy or damage.
- Help maintain a clean and professional building interior and exterior, including dumpsters, docks, entries, and lawns.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4PM. Three Saturdays per year (OT).
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
Knowledge of 3rd party distribution/warehousing
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Must be extremely detail-oriented and accurate
Must be able to multitask and work as a Team Player
Must be capable of successfully passing skills assessments, background checks, and references.
Must be able to work onsite and on time as per agreed schedule. Office location is in Edison, NJ 08817.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
