Monday-Friday is a split shift: Morning Shift is 6:30am-8:30am and Afternoon Shift is 1:30pm-3:30pm.
Saturday-Sunday: 4 Hours a Day to be Determined

Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality caregiving services, ensuring the comfort and well-being of clients in a home or community setting. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' social interactions and overall well-being.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health or behavior.
- Support clients in participating in recreational activities and community engagement.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel.
- Utilize first aid techniques when necessary and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
- Strong skills in assisting individuals with daily activities and providing patient care.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is beneficial.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals that cater to dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions closely.
