Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction teams on-site, supervising daily activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 and HeavyBid to optimize project timelines and resource allocation.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation.
• Oversee construction drawing review processes, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
• Manage contracts, procurement processes, and budgeting activities to keep projects financially on track.
• Enforce federal construction safety regulations such as OSHA standards across all project sites.
• Utilize construction management software like CompanyCam.
• Supervise subcontractors and vendors, managing performance and resolving issues promptly to maintain project momentum.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to construction schedule coordination practices.
• Interpret technical data using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical systems or other specialized equipment as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in managing teams in a construction environment.
• Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
• Strong understanding of federal safety regulations such as OSHA standards applicable to large-scale projects.
• Skilled in managing contracts, budgets, and project estimating processes with attention to detail.
• Construction site experience with hands-on supervision of multiple crews; supervisory experience is essential.
• Familiarity with construction drawing review processes and quality control procedures.
• Ability to coordinate complex construction schedules while managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of construction management best practices including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques.
• Technical proficiency with tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing or similar instrumentation required for specific projects.
