FER is a neighborhood Chinese restaurant in Long Island City, serving Southwest Chinese specialties, signature rice noodles, and small plates.
We’re looking for friendly, outgoing servers who enjoy taking care of guests. As a neighborhood restaurant, we value getting to know our regulars and making new guests feel at home.
Position Details
- Part-time and full-time positions available
- Pay: $20 to $30 per hour
- Shifts scheduled 10:30 AM and 9:30 PM, daily
- Location: Long Island City, NY
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 year of full-time restaurant server experience is required.
- A warm, outgoing personality and the ability to make friendly conversation with guests.
- Attentive service: greet guests warmly, explain menu items, make recommendations, and check on tables without waiting to be asked.
- Willingness to learn our menu and confidently answer questions about dishes and ingredients.
- Fast and efficient, able to manage multiple tables and stay calm during busy hours.
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to help teammates.
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling orders and payments accurately.
