- Provides first aid, illness and emergency care to students and staff.
- Provides student medical and emergency information to the Deans and teachers.
- Updates student database (Blackbaud) with relevant information for students
- Coordinates attendance with the Deans and Attendance Office
- Maintains state required medication policy.
- Maintains student health records that meet state requirements.
- Maintains contact with the Illinois Department of human Services.
- Assists in the completion of state required surveys.
- Helps facilitate student sports physical program.
- Provides sports physical information to Athletic Director, coaches and trainers.
- 3-5 years of experience as a school nurse in a secondary school.
- Baccalaureate Degree in a nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse Illinois License.
- Certification in School Nursing.
- Competency in the use of existing technology.
