Duties

- Control access to campus facilities by verifying identification and authorizing entry for students, staff, visitors, and contractors
- Conduct regular patrols across campus grounds to identify hazards, prevent theft, and maintain order
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring CPR or first aid assistance
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate disputes
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and assist in investigations related to loss prevention or security breaches
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and inspections for reporting purposes
Skills
- Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement with a strong understanding of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation
- Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies
- Knowledge of conflict management strategies to handle tense situations effectively
- Familiarity with loss prevention practices to safeguard campus assets and property
- Ability to operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems confidently
- Background in military or security services is advantageous but not required; relevant training is provided for qualified candidates
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with students, staff, visitors, and emergency responders
