Provides developmentally appropriate instruction in a self-contained Transitional Kindergarten classroom, creating a nurturing, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that supports the cognitive, language, social-emotional, physical, and academic growth of young children. The Transitional Kindergarten Teacher fosters curiosity through play-based, hands-on learning experiences aligned with California Transitional Kindergarten standards and the Charter School's instructional program. Education: Bachelor’s degree and a preliminary or clear multiple-subject teaching credential EL authorization Meets criteria for “highly qualified” (ESSA compliance) status (CBEST, CSET, or equivalent as approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing) Requirements: At least 24 units in early childhood education, childhood development, or both. As determined by the school district or charter school employing the teacher, professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool-age children that is comparable to the 24 units of education described above; or A child development teacher permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
PLEASE NOTE: If candidate is out-of-state, you MUST have CA EL authorization and CA Multiple Subject credential.
