We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team dedicated to maintaining optimal indoor climate conditions across various properties. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and reliably. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as condensate drain lines and water supply connections.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for repairs when necessary.
- Diagnose complex issues involving ammonia refrigeration or HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems with precision.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, parts used, and system performance reports.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local building codes; operate a
driver vehicle safely when transporting equipment or parts. - Support property maintenance tasks including appliance repair and general mechanical upkeep to ensure seamless building operations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC systems with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge and field service operations.
- Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or system upgrades.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration processes including ammonia refrigeration if applicable.
- Mechanical mechanic experience with equipment repair, boiler maintenance, welding skills, and appliance troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R standards along with experience working on air conditioning units and property maintenance tasks.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively; experience with refrigeration systems including ammonia-based setups is a plus.
- Valid
driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in field service environments preferred. Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
