As part of the New Product Development Team, you will …….
S/he will be responsible for collaborating with various departments to:
- Conduct lab testing on technical textiles according to product development needs
- 3D model new fixtures or product models to enhance product understanding
- Learn components and processes of rapier looms
- Technical documentation:
- Updating specs to new format
- Product validation – mechanical properties like tensile, tear, EPI, PPI, weight, etc.
- 3D modeling of weave patterns
- R&D projects
- Alternative fabrics – quartz, MWPE, etc. – applications, testing
