What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finisher - 2nd Shift - M-F 3:00pm - 11:30pm position at Fenner Precision Polymers?
2nd shift - Monday - Friday; 3:00pm - 11:30pm
- SAFETY practices MUST be exercised by each operator at all times.
- Use safety devices and equipment provided.
- Refer to shop manual procedures and types of edge finishing.
- Finishers will set rolls on finish table, straighten spirals so they are uniform and connect panels with connecting crimp.
- Once table load is set up, confirm “spirals per foot” from the entry on the shop order.
- Apply tension and trim spirals.
- Square the belt.
- Weld edges of belt in accordance with type of edge required.
- Inspect belt.
- Take belt to shipping department once approved by department supervisor
