What are the responsibilities and job description for the Precision Conveyor Belt Fabrication Associate position at Fenner Precision Polymers - USA?

Do you like working with your hands and following exact specs? In this role, you turn manufacturing orders into finished conveyor belts by assembling wire components, shaping edges, and validating quality at every step.
What will you do?
- Can you start by reading manufacturing orders to capture every customer requirement and detail?
- Will you evaluate the starter piece to ensure it meets quality expectations before you begin?
- Are you ready to assemble wires into the starter piece with accuracy and consistency?
- Throughout assembly, can you keep an eye on twist, bow, curve, ends, belt width, tightness, parallel alignment, skips, and bend test outcomes?
- At the beginning of each belt and every three hours, will you perform the bend test to verify integrity?
- When the belt is finished, can you reroll it and help verify quality during the reroll?
- Can you build right-size cardboard boxes with a pneumatic staple gun, label them correctly, band them, and place them in the assigned area?
- Will you apply positive or negative bow to belts as required?
- Are you comfortable repairing edges with wire cutters and pliers and performing edge bending using bending dies?
- Can you make splice clips as part of the finishing process?
- Will you use a saw to cut cardboard poles to the proper length?
- Are you flexible about rotating to different workstations as production demands change?
