Key Accountabilities
Accountability Purpose / Impact
Shift Supervision Oversee production staff during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
Team Leadership Provide guidance, coaching, and support to production staff; facilitate communication and workflow coordination.
Production Execution Ensure production targets are met by monitoring line performance, troubleshooting issues, and reallocating resources as needed.
Quality & Compliance Monitor adherence to GMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements; report deviations to management.
Reporting & Documentation Track and report production metrics, equipment performance, and staff performance to the Production Manager or Assistant Production Manager.
Training & Development Assist in training new employees, promoting best practices, and maintaining team competency.
Continuous Improvement Identify and implement opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance workflow.
Safety & Workplace Standards Enforce safety protocols, promote a safe work environment, and ensure staff compliance with company and regulatory safety standards.
Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve production issues and ensure smooth operations.

Internal Stakeholders
- Production Staff: direct supervision and support
- Production Manager / Assistant Production Manager: report updates, escalate issues, and implement guidance
- Quality & Compliance: ensure production practices comply with standards
- Maintenance / Engineering: coordinate for equipment issues or downtime
- Supply Chain / Warehouse: ensure materials and packaging availability for production
External Stakeholders
- Vendors / Suppliers (as applicable): support production needs and material coordination

Skills & Requirements
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in production operations or manufacturing supervision
- Experience managing a small team or shift operations preferred
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of production processes, blending, and packaging operations
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement methods
- Understanding of GMP, SOPs, and quality standards
- Basic reporting and documentation skills
Process & Quality Competencies
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions
- Attention to detail and adherence to quality and safety standards

Pay: $18.00 - $22.85 per hour
