About the Role
Fenix Property Services manages a growing portfolio of residential and commercial properties across Chester, Montgomery, and Berks County, PA. We're looking for a hands-on, reliable General Labor / Property Maintenance Technician to keep our properties clean, safe, and well-maintained.
This isn't just a labor job — it's an opportunity to grow. As you prove yourself, there's real potential to take ownership of a full property maintenance division, including expanding these services (junk removal, landscaping, leaf removal) to outside clients. We're looking for a go-getter who wants to build something, not just clock in and out.
What You'll Be Doing
Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance
- Mowing (zero-turn mowers), weed whacking, mulching, and leaf cleanup across multiple properties
- Towing and operating a landscape trailer between job sites
- General grounds upkeep to maintain curb appeal across our portfolio
Junk Removal & Debris Hauling
- Pulling and operating a 14-yard dump trailer between job sites
- Loading and hauling debris, construction material, and junk to the dump
- Transporting construction materials between job sites as needed
Property Turnover & Cleanup
- Cleaning up after tenant move-outs (junk removal, deep cleaning, hauling old furniture/debris)
- Cleaning up after plumbing leaks or other property damage
- Moving supplies and materials between properties
Light Maintenance (a plus, not required)
- Minor painting touch-ups
- Basic handyman/maintenance tasks as needed
What We're Looking For
- Valid driver's license and comfort towing trailers (dump trailer landscape trailer) with a truck
- Physically able to perform manual labor: lifting, hauling, operating outdoor power equipment
- Self-starter who can show up, figure out what needs to be done, and get it done with minimal hand-holding
- Reliable and punctual — this role directly affects how our properties look and perform
- Experience with lawn equipment (zero-turn mowers, weed whackers) preferred but trainable
- Basic maintenance/painting skills a plus, not required
- Entrepreneurial mindset — someone who wants to grow into managing and eventually owning this division as it expands
