Manager, Circular Services Operations

Fenix Outdoor
Aurora, CO Full Time
POSTED ON 10/21/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 11/18/2026
Location: Aurora, CO

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 annually

Great outdoor gear is made to last. But lasting doesn't happen by accident. It takes thoughtful design, skilled hands, smart systems, and a commitment to finding value in what others might overlook.

At Fenix Outdoor, we believe a product's story shouldn't end when it needs a repair, finds its way back to us, or is ready for a new owner. We're looking for a curious, resourceful, and hands-on Manager, Circular Services Operations to help us bring that belief to life.

In this role, you'll lead the people, processes, and programs that give our products a longer life, from warranty and repair services to pre-loved gear, refurbishment, and product returns and recovery. You'll build efficient, scalable operations, develop a talented team, and turn our commitment to circularity into meaningful, measurable action.

If you're an operational problem-solver who loves making systems better, developing people, and finding practical ways to reduce waste, this is your opportunity to make a difference for our customers, our business, and the places we love to explore.

What You Will Do

Lead Circular Services Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across Warranty, Repair, Pre-Loved, Parts Inventory, and Product Returns and Recovery programs
  • Develop strategies and scalable processes that extend product life through repair, reuse, refurbishment, resale, and recycling
  • Establish service standards and workflows that balance operational efficiency, quality, and a great customer experience
  • Guide the evolution of trade-in, take-back, and product recovery initiatives

Streamline Product Returns, Recovery & Reverse Logistics

  • Manage how returned products are received, inspected, graded, repaired, refurbished, and returned to use or responsibly recovered
  • Partner with Distribution, Transportation, Customer Service, Retail, and E-commerce teams to create seamless product flows
  • Identify opportunities to improve recovery rates, reduce waste, and maximize the value of returned products
  • Develop processes that support material recovery and responsible recycling

Champion Quality & Customer Experience

  • Ensure repaired and refurbished products meet our high standards for quality, functionality, and craftsmanship
  • Build consistent inspection and product grading practices
  • Improve turnaround times, repair success rates, and customer satisfaction through thoughtful process improvements
  • Help customers build lasting relationships with the products they love

Drive Operational & Financial Performance

  • Manage labor planning, operating expenses, and parts and materials inventory
  • Use data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure efficiency, quality, product recovery, and financial performance
  • Identify and implement improvements that reduce costs, strengthen productivity, and support sustainable growth
  • Develop reporting that turns operational insights into clear, actionable decisions

Lead & Develop Your Team

  • Guide, coach, and support a team of Repair Technicians and Warranty Specialists
  • Build effective staffing plans, training programs, and opportunities for professional growth
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture where curiosity and continuous improvement are encouraged
  • Create an environment where people feel empowered to contribute ideas, solve problems, and take pride in their work

You Bring

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT

  • 3 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, supply chain, warranty, repair services, returns management, or a related field
  • Experience leading frontline operational teams and helping people grow and succeed
  • Strong process improvement skills and a knack for making complex workflows simpler and more effective
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities, with confidence using operational data, KPIs, and performance metrics to guide decisions
  • Experience managing budgets, labor planning, and operational resources
  • A practical, hands-on leadership style, balanced with an ability to think strategically and plan for the future
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to bring people and teams together around shared goals
  • A degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • A genuine appreciation for quality, durability, responsible business practices, and the value of giving products a longer life

Preferred (but Not Required)

  • Experience with circular economy programs, reverse logistics, refurbishment, repair operations, or recommerce
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement certification
  • Experience in outdoor, apparel, footwear, consumer goods, or retail industries
  • Familiarity with sustainability principles and circular commerce business models
