Job Summary
The Industrial Cleaner maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout both non-production zones and production zones. This role ensures that facility, restrooms, and other additional spaces are cleaned to facility standards. The ideal candidate works well independently, pays close attention to detail, has forklift experience, and understands industrial safety.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of industrial areas, including floors, machinery, and workstations.
- Conduct custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and sanitation of restrooms and common areas.
- Operate cleaning machinery efficiently while adhering to safety protocol guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs, floor care, buffing, and residential painting touch-ups when required.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, safety checks, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Continuous standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to safely lift, push, and pull equipment.
- Exposure to fluctuating temperatures and industrial dust.
- Mandatory use of required PPE, including steel-toed boots, and safety glasses.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent general education degree.
- Skills: Reliability, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, must have forklift experience, and strong spatial safety awareness.
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
