Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as a Host/Host, where you will be the welcoming face of our establishment! In this dynamic role, you will create an inviting atmosphere for guests, manage seating arrangements, and ensure a smooth dining experience. We are looking for someone who can work Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4:00PM - 10:00PM. Your exceptional communication skills and passion for hospitality will shine as you engage with guests and support our restaurant operations.
What you’ll do
- Greet guests with enthusiasm and warmth, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive.
- Manage the seating chart efficiently to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort.
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to facilitate timely service and address guest needs promptly.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about menu offerings and reservation options.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area to enhance the guest experience.
- Support special events or large parties by preparing designated areas and coordinating with team members.
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns or feedback in a friendly manner.
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or in a customer service role within the food service industry is preferred.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Background in hospitality or hotel services is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest interaction.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
