The HR intern will assist the Human Resources Department in daily administrative tasks and activities while demonstrating excellent administration, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding process by preparing welcome packets, setting up new employee profiles, and assisting with initial orientation activities to ensure a smooth transition.
- Accurately input, update, and manage employee data in our HRIS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. This includes new hires, terminations, changes in status, and personal information.
- Support in all company internal communications; Draft and distribute internal organization announcements.
- Manage the HR department email inbox, prioritizing inquiries and forwarding them to the appropriate team members.
- Run basic HR reports, such as headcount reports, attendance summaries, or training completion rates, under the guidance of HR Manager.
- Support in administering annual compliance trainings to the organization
- Help with the performance management process communications.
- Conduct research on current HR trends, industry best practices, and relevant labor laws to support ongoing departmental projects and initiatives.
- Organize, file, and retrieve HR documents, both physical and digital, in accordance with company policies and compliance regulations. Assist in digitizing historical records for improved accessibility.
- Support projects related to training, employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and other HR-related matters.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities.
Additional information:
- Must be available to work in the New York City office Monday-Friday: 9-6pm
- Bachelor’s degree or previous internship experience in a related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Passion for Fendi and the Luxury Industry
- An interest in Talent Development and Employee Engagement a plus
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously
- Experience with HRIS system a plus
