Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant Bookkeeper. As an Assistant Bookkeeper, you will provide support to our bookkeeping department and assist with various administrative tasks. Duties:
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as data entry, invoice processing, and reconciling accounts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end close processes
- Coordinate projects and tasks related to bookkeeping and financial management
- Provide administrative support to the bookkeeping department, including filing, organizing documents, and managing correspondence
- Assist with order entry and inventory management
- Perform general clerical duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and greeting visitors
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus
- Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with order entry or front desk receptionist duties is beneficial
