What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist position at FENCE ME IN AND DECKS TOO LLC?
You'll spend your days visiting active jobsites, capturing great content, editing videos, creating engaging posts, and helping us build one of the strongest social media presences in the home improvement industry.
What You'll Do
- Visit active fence and deck projects throughout the Richmond area.
- Capture high-quality photos and videos of projects, crews, and finished work.
- Edit short-form videos for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
- Write engaging captions and schedule content across all social media channels.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase followers, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Monitor analytics and adjust content based on performance.
- Stay current with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
- Brainstorm creative marketing campaigns and promotional ideas.
- Engage with followers by responding to comments and messages.
- Collaborate with our sales and office teams to highlight customer projects, promotions, and company updates.
- Track social media performance and provide regular reports on growth, reach, engagement, and lead generation.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who understands that social media is more than just posting pictures. You should know how to create content that gets noticed, reaches the right audience, and turns viewers into customers.
Ideal qualifications include:
- Experience managing business social media accounts.
- Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Experience reading and interpreting social media analytics.
- Understanding of algorithms, audience growth strategies, and content optimization.
- Excellent photography and videography skills.
- Experience editing videos using software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Canva, or similar tools.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Company Vehicle
A company vehicle and gas card are provided during work hours for travel to jobsites and other company-related activities. The vehicle is assigned for business use only and is not available for personal use or take-home privileges.
